Materials
Some of the materials used in our builds are sourced locally. Obviously our models are being built around the world and not all products are sold worldwide. Below we will try to let you know what items we use, and where possible we will attach a link.

Luer Lock Squeeze Bottles
These are probably the item we are asked most often about. We find that the squeeze bottles make assembly so much easier. They have a Luer Lock cap, and we use 18g - .5" blunt needles. We use 1oz or 30ml bottles for glue and a larger one containing water to clean the needle. The needles do block if you don't keep them clear. |
Paste Wax
Many moving parts of our models need to be lubricated. Models with lubricated parts work much smooth and easier than ones which are not lubricated. Excess friction can cause wood parts to fail and break. Any suitable lubricant can be used, candlewax etc. We like this brand, but there are many other brands which would work just as well as this one. |
